YinTang Spicy Hot Pot Reviews
Not much in the way of variety. However, the pork broth plus beef tendon combo is very good. I do come quite often because it is something I like. Service is quite fast, around 10-15 minutes per pot. If you pay cash and exceed 1.5 lbs you can opt for selection of free drinks.
My favorite spot for customized hot pot! YinTang has several locations around the 626 area, and I've been to a few of them--all consistently great. There's a wide variety of proteins and veggies to choose from, ensuring everyone can find something they enjoy. I absolutely love their beef bone broth--it's rich, flavorful, and the perfect base for a hearty meal. The staff is friendly and helpful, though they can get quite busy during peak hours. It's always a lively atmosphere with families and groups of friends enjoying their meals together. Pro tip: they offer a stamp card! For every 10 pounds of food, you'll earn a free pound. Don't forget to ask for it when you pay--it's a great perk if you're a regular!
This place was pretty busy when we went on a week day night. But we were able to sit within 10min. You first grab a bowl and tongs to choose the ingredients you want in the hot pot. The buffet area was kept super clean which I appreciate. I got the mild spicy broth just to be safe but definitely could've done medium for more spice. The staff were attentive and friendly. Overall I highly recommend!
My first time here didn't know the process works like this: - grab a huge bowl and tongs - get your own hands ingredients from the bar add to the bowl - when finished adding your custom ingredients take the bowl to the cashier for weighing. They charge the price according to weight. Lighter ingredients will cost less than heavier ones like corn on the cob and noodles. - pay cash you get a free drink - choose from three broths or no broth - they take your bowl of ingredients to the back kitchen to prepare - the server brings your huge bowl out to the table - complimentary DIY sauce bar Ingredients are fresh and replenished.
I'm a fan of this YinTang location, not so much the Arcadia one. I love that this one is tidy and more open so the space feels larger. Pretty standard malatang concept. You grab a bowl and pick out everything you want in your hotpot. When you get to the register, pick a soup base and they weigh your bowl at $13.99 per pound. I got the bone broth and it did not disappoint. They have a sauce bar for you to make a dipping sauce concoction for your hotpot and this one is on the simpler side, which I like. I don't even think the hotpot needs sauce because it already has really good flavor. Service is also really good here. They bring your food really fast! Love that this location has a really big parking lot and is easy to get to! Definitely would love to come back when I'm in the area!
